Necessary materials

Paints:

  • Golden;
  • Yellow Ochre (or any ochre);
  • Cadmium Orange;
  • Titian (or any dark orange, transparent orange WN, autumn red Mijello, 218 Schmincke);
  • Ultramarine;
  • Indian Gold or other transparent yellows: Indian Yellow NP, Quinacridone Gold Sennelier, Gamboge Rembrandt, etc.;
  • Sepia;
  • Quinacridone Purple or Violet.

Minimum List:

  • Ochre;
  • Cadmium Orange;
  • Titian;
  • Ultramarine;
  • Sepia;
  • Violet.

Brushes:

  • Round synthetic brush with a sharp tip, sizes #3 and #5.
  • Large brush made of synthetic or natural bristles for wetting the entire paper surface.

Paper:

  • Cotton paper, 300gsm. Satin or fine surface.

Recommended brands:

  • Saunders Waterford (cp and hp);
  • Moulin du Roy fine;
  • Arches Satin/Fine;
  • Winsor & Newton Satin/Fine, and others.

Other Materials:

  • Mechanical pencil (preferred) or regular pencil.
  • Kneaded eraser/eraser.
  • Paper towels.
  • A drawing board or glass to place your work on.
