His work has been successfully presented at international exhibitions, including the world exhibition of children's book illustrators in Bologna. Evgeny has twice received the Book of the Year diploma and has twice been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren International Award. He is a leading representative of the Russian illustration scene and a recognised master in his field

For me, painting is not just making a verbatim copy of what nature spreads out all around. It is the ability to interpret what nature individually communicates with me. My love for travel has not just elevated my soul but it has also inspired my art to a very large extent.
